Welcome to the Primary Treasure and Our Little Friend website! I’m the managing editor, and I love working with kids. Before I worked here, I was a teacher, and now I have students all over the world. I have loved reading and writing stories all my life. I also like to travel, sing, and solve puzzles. If you see me, ask me to tell you about my three cats—I’ll probably show you pictures. Most importantly, I know that Jesus loves you and always will.

Kim Justinen has been drawing the art and painting the cover illustrations for Our Little Friend and Primary Treasure since 1992. Kim enjoys drawing art in lots of different whimsical and realistic styles. Baby Steps, A Child’s Steps To Jesus, Donnetti and Friends, Detective Zack, Mixed Up Max and Primary Quarterly are some of the projects that feature her art. The best part of the job for this illustrator is reading the terrific stories and creating art that tells the story in a glance for kids and parents. Jesus spoke in picture words (parables). Kim paints words into pictures.
